WP-Foundation

Well, it’s been a while since we’ve been able to spend time on our Foundation theme. Most of the work we’ve been doing lately has been on our WP-Bootstrap theme or client work, but when Zurb released version 3.0 of the Foundation framework we just had to give this thing an overhaul.

This release features all of the goodness of the new version of Foundation:

• Built on Sass and Compass. This theme is easily customized by modifying the _settings.scss file and recompiling using Compass. Change the options to suit your needs/tastes and you have instant uniqueness.
• Mobile friendly. Go ahead and resize your browser. Yup.
• Orbit. The slider featured on the homepage of this site comes with the Homepage page template we’ve built into the theme. Don’t like it? Turn it off in the theme options panel.
• Lots of other features I’m missing. Just check out the Zurb page if you need more convincing.

We’re proud to announce that we just released another (yes, another) free WordPress theme based on another rapid prototyping framework. This time – Zurb Foundation. Just like we did with the WordPress Bootstrap theme, we’ve tried to make this something that could not only be used by theme developers as a pretty good starting point for their next theme, but also as a nice minimalist-type theme.
